Better Late Than Never

So. Easter was over a week ago, but it's better to be late then never show up, here are some highlights from my Easter weekend with my beloved sister.

Sunday Baking Fun

Baking has always been something that relaxes me, and Sundays afternoons are always relaxing so it's no surprise that baking on a Sunday is my idea of a perfect activity. This time I baked the classic of all classics: the chocolate chip cookie. I followed this recipe and the only deviation I made was adding more vanilla extract, cause lets face it, you can never have too much vanilla extract.

(On a side note, if you're on the fence about buying a KitchenAid mixer, just do it! It cuts my batter-makin-time in HALF! And they're just soooo pretty.)

I'm Not Going To Lie...

I'm not entirely against bribery. Especially when I'm bribing myself. Right now I'm trying to focus on working out, eating right, and loosing the 10lbs I've recently gained. So, I've decided to bribe myself, with Kate Spade NY. I don't know about you, but  I feel that Kate Spade has been KILLING IT lately. Everything on their site makes my mouth water, the vintage-ish silhouettes and pops of color get my heart -a-racing. So, to encourage myself, I've promised a little something-something from my new favorite store. Here are some of my favorites.

To Bang Or Not To Bang, that is the question

Right now I'm in the horrible in between stage of growing out bangs. I got my Zooey-esque bangs back in November and have decided that they just aren't me.

And now, I'm in the pinned-back-horribly-long-i-look-like-a-sheep-dog phase and I'm NOT digging it. I have to hold myself back from getting my bangs trimmed almost everyday...ARG. I'm in hate with the phase. Why can't my hair look like this again?

P.S. this is my man-piece, Ryan!

Oh well, time will pass and my dumb bangs will grow!!
